This series was inspired by our current engagement with social media. Instagram and other platforms have connected us to people we like, people we’ve come to love, people we don’t truly know, and people we hope to know more intimately. Exploring this idea has revealed that we are perhaps all connected, and that there’s someone you know in these drawings, as well.
Danielle Kump is an artist, teacher + culinary madcap. She experiments with new formats for building community in the form of both solo and collaborative art projects in addition to facilitating a variety of culinary experiences. She lives online @danimadethis.
