This process made me understand that my space is my sanctuary. The questions helped me learn more about my likes, dislikes, and what makes me feel comfortable. As I read “The Bajaro Method”, I thought that the author’s understanding of the emotional impact of our environments was helpful.  At first I did not understand what Barbara Kaplan meant when she said that “Rooms don’t have feelings, you do.” Then, as I continued through the chapters, I had an “A-ha” moment. I came to a deeper understanding of how the design choices I make affect the emotions of the occupants. As a young designer, it is up to me to ask the right questions and make a healing, comforting and personal environment. I also have been inspired to look around my own home and think about what changes I want to make for myself and my family. I am pleased with the insight that I gained from reading this book.
